| The first thing to constructing the vertical trim fin is to fashion wood plugs for the top and bottom of the trim fin. Here you see I measured the angle at the top of the VTF and cut a 2X2 block to match the angles for the top plug. The rest is cutting, gluing, screwing and sanding to get the plug to the desired finish. |

I will complete the VTF plug by blending the joint with either fiberglass or Bondo before painting. |
