| This is the frame just out of the box. In the background you can see the fiberglass seat molding sitting on the box containing the rotor blades. The big tube in the rear contains the tail boom. |

| The landing gear has been mounted on the skids. This was pretty straight forward except drilling chrome molly steel is a challenge. I am using only cobalt drill bits. They hold up well against this hard metal. |

| Not having a grinder or other machining equipment, I had to improvise to get the skid end caps to fit. My belt sander clamped upside down on a Workmate bench did the trick. It was a little tough on the manicure. I bought a grinder after this. |

| Mounting the lower motor mount was tough. Alignment is critical. I had to grind mounting pads on the frame and use a torch to heat and bend the mount tubes to get the right alignment. |
