I didn't get many pictures of assembling the collective/throttle. It went pretty smooth except for one little hitch I'll explain later in the page. I did document the things that are not mentioned in the RW directions.

The collective control pivots on a nylon bushing. The picture shows me reaming the pivot bushing. It was slightly undersize after installing it in the collective tube.

The throttle grip gets mounted on the end of the collective. I didn't take pictures of manufacturing the throttle. Sometimes I get so focused on the project everything else just disappears.

This is a close up of the throttle linkage mounted on the rear of the collective tube. When rotated fully counter lock wise, he throttle linkage tube should come in contact with the throttle tube. You can see the nut on the linkage casting interferes with the throttle stop tab. This is something RW doesn't tell you about in the instructions, video or the drawings.

Here I've disassembled the throttle linkage and cutting a notch out of the throttle stop. The Drimmel with the tungsten cut off wheel does a pretty good job on the chrome molly steel.

Here you can see the throttle linkage reassembled. Now the two throttle tubes come in contact when rotated fully counter clock wise.
Here's a shot of the collective and the throttle linkage assembled. You can see the throttle grip on the end of the collective tube.
The lower linkage of the collective control rod had to be set at 35 degrees.
Here you can see the collective control rod mounted between the collective control and the actuator arm. I took this picture after the motor was mounted; more about that later.
Here's the collective control rod attached to the collective actuator fork. The spring helps gives the collective neutral balance.
